Many sororities decided to end their legacy policies this year.

Playing favorites? Do you not understand the process? No one is guaranteed anything.

Sounds to me like the opposite of playing favorites. They showed no favoritism by putting you through if they didn’t like you just because you are a legacy.

chapters care less and less about legacies every year. every chapter is different at every school. delta gamma at asu is different than delta gamma in the south. probably are basing it more so off of if they feel you are a good fit for their chapter. chapters would have to let girls they believe would be a good fit in their chapter go if they let legacies make it throughout every round

Many sororities, at the national level, changed their Legacy policies to show no special treatment whatsoever for legacies. So the answer is probably yes, it is allowed.

being a legacy means you're more highly considered, but if at the end of the day you don't share their values, they'll drop you anyways
