nervous about other pnms
by: hitheres so many pretty freshman and I’m scared that they are going to take up all the bids for all the good houses. I feel like I don’t stand a chance against all these blonde skinny girls.

Don’t be nervous! Chapters are looking for personality/involvement and girls they believe will be a good fit in the chapter. Every chapter is unique and special in their own way and every house is good. This experience is about you! Don’t compare yourself to others. Just be yourself, put on an outfit you feel comfortable and confident in, and trust the process and you will find your home :)

there are no "bad" houses at asu. what is "good" for some girls may not be "good" for you. you're already comparing yourself to other girls. wouldn't that be exhausting at every chapter meeting, event (even if virtual), etc.? you'll eventually have your self-esteem ruined or just always feel like you don't belong. why not find a group that you feel comfortable with. i can assure you that nobody really cares what letters you wear.
