fraternity comments

is DKE so good? I am a potential rushee for next year and there isnt anything about DKE on this website for asu so i can't figure out why theyre considered top tier? can anyone explain?

DKE is the fraternity started by the last couple Sigma Pi pledge classes after they lost their charter...so most of what you hear/read about Sigma Pi from recently applies to them as well, except they don't have a house and they wear Sperrys now.

Has improved a lot but is still not top tier. Even with a complex, we'll have to wait and see how they do in rush. Plenty of fraternities are better than TKE. Theta Chi, FIJI, Alpha Sig, Kappa Sig all have complexes and are better than TKE. And there are plenty of fraternities without complexes better than them as well like SAE, SigEP, Sigma Chi and DKE. I'd put TKE under all of those.

Honestly, you need to take a look at each of the fraternities and see who you fit in. Thats most important because you are trying to find your future brothers.

top houses change every semester here, so if you join a house with guys you like they will most likely be a top contender at some point during your college career. sadly, top houses don't last long because asu finds any reason to bring them down.

very true. When I pledged, a few of the top houses that are obviously not top anymore were
delta sigma phi, sigma pi, and sigma nu. There were others that have stayed, but rushing a house only because of its status brings no guarantee that you will have the best experience.

The top 2 houses at ASU are Sigma Phi Epsilon and Sigma Chi. These two dominate socially, during rush, and with their alumni. Ask any sorority girl in the best sororities and they usually party with one of those two. Not to mention they will both have central living next semester.

who would ever put Kappa Sigma above TKE? I'd put them above maybe Pi Kapp or Lambda Chi or something, but no higher. PSK was garbage, and Kappa Sigma was nobody before they took those guys in.
