are any of the frats in the glv good
by: yeetit seems like all the frats who decided to move into the glv are lower tier houses trying to use it for recruitment

When the time came around to sign a lease for the GLV, many frats were against the concept. The costs were high, and the area would be monitored (meaning no parties). The bigger frats decided to allocate money towards off-campus houses which was definitely the right move. The only houses that benefited from the GLV were Sig Ep (now kicked off), and now Lambda probably. The GLV is filled with smaller frats (besides Lambda, KA, Pi Kapp) that were newer to campus during the GLV signing, as they tried making a name for themselves; however, they realized spending all the $ on the GLV leaves them with no true party relevance off-campus. The new Lambda spot (Sig Ep's spot) will improve sorority relations but they are not really a party frat to begin with so a GLV spot makes sense for them. Consider D Sig, Sig Chi, Pike, FIJI, K Sig for some good parties and traditional fraternity experience.

Pretty sure most frats in the GLV have at least 75+ actives, except beta and theta xi but correct me if I’m wrong, so I wouldn’t say that smaller frats fill up the GLV
