should I join Greek life
by: HelloIs being in Greek life and having a job/internships doable in your experience? I might rush next yr but need to know the 100% truth about the level of commitment I’ll need to have

Yes it’s totally doable, a lot of people do them. On a regular basis you only have to go to one meeting a week and the rest is optional. They also let you know when an event is coming up with lots of time ahead. It’s up to you what you want out of Greek life. It is what you make of it.

so each chapter has different commitments. there’s chapter meetings once a week and some mandatory events. these are usually communicated well in advance so you can get work off. if you want to have a leadership or executive position, you’ll need to carve out more time for your chapter. I’m on my exec board and I absolutely love it. Greek life and a job is totally doable.

This is true for actives. For pledges, usually you have to attendance for all events is mandatory. Pledging is more of a time commitment than being an active.
