Well ASU as a whole doesn’t have a great retention rate especially for freshman.
It has a high expectance rate which leads to a lot of people dropping out.
People also still think ASU is a party school & don’t realize that they actually have to do work

Another thing is joining a sorority is VERY expensive. You have to pay for dues and outfits and makeup and crafts and to actually go to events and you have to pay fines for not going to some events and so much random stupid stuff.
I would say 90% of people who drop their sorority do it for financial reasons.

Every year almost every sorority does spring rush. It is not a comment on the individual chapters.
Being a college student is a huge commitment and being a sorority women is also a massive commitment that not every individual can handle.

DZ and Aphi did spring recruitment??

Spring recruitment doesn’t have to do with retention rates. It’s in a lot of houses bylaws and encouraged by their nationals to recruit whenever given the opportunity. When houses have the budget to have spring recruitment they typically do. The goal is to share sisterhood with as many women possible. Don’t hate on houses for doing so.
