Im rushing in the fall and was wondering how much sororities take GPA into consideration. I graduated high school (from North Carolina) with a 3.6 and most of the sororities from the universities in my hometown take GPA VERY seriously when rushing.

Honestly, as long as you're above a 2.5, u'll be fine. There is one sorority, Theta, that is known for taking girls with the highest GPA's but a 3.6 is beyond acceptable for about all the sororities.

There is a minimum GPA required to rush, but you're definitely set with a 3.6. Most of the sororities take GPA into consideration when recruiting and a high one will definitely help you out. Some houses are more concerned with maintaining a high GPA so they are generally the ones that will pay more attention to it. From what I've noticed, Theta, AGD, and DZ care the most when it comes to academics.
