I would hope you'd have high grades for both high school and college to join a strat. If you have a 2.5 in high school or college, yikes.

Well obviously those aren’t amazing grades but if your going to be actually HONEST with the person asking the question you should go off facts. Telling a pnm they need a 3.5 hs gpa to get a bid is completely not true. Asu is a good school but is a very large school that allows students in with low gpas. They aren’t going to require every girl to get a 3.5 in hs to be in a sorority. 2.5 is required, 3.0 is preferred and you won’t get cut if you have above a 3.0. If you have between a 2.5-3.0, it might be harder to get a bid but still very possible

According to the Panhellenic Recruitment Booklet a 2.5 is required however every individual chapter’s GPA requirement is different for recruitment. They also mention it is important to understand that if your GPA is lower than a 2.5 your opportunities of joining decrease. Also yes they do get your official transcripts from ASU so don’t bother lying.

Are you sure about needing a hs gpa of a 3.5 to join a sorority? I’ve never heard of that. ASU requires that anyone who rushes has a 2.5 gpa minimum with no exceptions. The sororities usually cut at a 3.0 but if your under a 3.0 you can still get a bid.
