actual rankings

Just curious to know what the actual rankings are for the sororities without all the self ranking. I was hoping to rush next year but am not sure which is the best.

just see what house you click with most. every house has both good and bad stereotypes attached to it i.e. alpha gam and minorities or theta and snobby shut ins. its not like high school, you're just joining a club, and you should want to join a club where you will get along with everyone. the houses that most people would recommend avoiding would be kkg, chi omega, and sigma kappa. those houses are considered the desperate ones and don't really get respect from guys or from other houses. good luck and just keep an open mind to who the girls are and not their reputation

from a guy's perspective, the sororities i think have the best personalities and happiest sisters are pi phi, adpi, agd, and dz

It doesn't matter what the rankings are because half of them are total BS! You have to spend time meeting different girls in order to find the best place for you! Who cares what anyone else thinks, what matters is who you feel the best around!

all houses besides agd sk adpi and gphi are good.

geeez hater go away!! all of them are fine honestly. pick the one that makes you feel happy and like you could see yourself being friends with. being in a 'top' or 'bottom' house DOES NOT change your sorority experience. every chapter has its good and bad, pros and cons.

Top tier- KKG, KAO, PIPHI, ADPi, Chi O
Middle Tier-AXO, SK, Alpha Phi
...and the rest dont matter

As much as people hate to admit it, there are completely obvious tiers. With no order within the tiers:
Top: Theta, Pi Phi, Alpha Phi
Top Middle: DG, DZ, AXO
Bottom Middle: Chi O, Kappa
Bottom: SK, AGD, ADPi, Gphi

And they have a history of HAZING by members including their former president!!
So I would never want to be an Alpha Phi, just sayin

Really, these rankings will slightly vary every year and it usually depends on the pledge class. For all going through rush, just go with your gut. That's what I did, I'm not in a top tier sorority but I am in the one that I know I was meant to be with, and with sisters that I love and will forever have a bond with. If you're going into this for the right reasons, then rankings shouldn't matter.
