the district?

I'll be transferring to ASU next semester and I really like the District. I'm wondering if there's a lot of parties or if I should just go live somewhere else.

Nah dude the most that goes on there are pre-games for parties at actual houses

If you want a housing area with a lot of parties look at the Cottages

I was just doing my research and it looks like there's lots of parties (which is what I want) but people only have bad things to say about the place in the reviews. Is that the norm for people that live there? Or these people are just an exception?

as far as apartment parties go, yeah theres a lot. But just think about it, apartments are smaller than houses so the big ragers are at houses that are scattered in all the neighborhoods within ~2 miles from campus. The district is a good spot. Maybe after a year of living there, move into a house the next year with some buddies and then you can throw bigger parties and have lower rent.

Yeah, that's my plan. Get an apartment my first year, meet some people, join a fraternity and then get a house with some friends.

What are your thoughts on university house?

Live in West 6 if your rushing and want to party. It's a good look for you and you'd meet a lot of people.
