social life

I'm considering transferring to ASU as a junior from a community college. I know Greek life here isn't typical , apparently there isn't really houses or something? I don't know I'm not sure but I'm just wondering how much not being in Greek life would affect my social life, and if rushing as a junior would be hopeless

It depends if you don't plan on joining any clubs then yeah it'll have a huge impact. ASU is huge but that can actually really work against your social life. You're going to be a transfer and an upperclassmen so if you don't join clubs and make an effort of making friends there you'd probably spend your last two years meeting no one. So if you don't want to do clubs then greek could help with that. A number of houses won't take you as a junior but some will.
