sig ep going downhill?

Is Sig Ep actually going downhill? My friend was rushing just now and he got an interview from them but no bid and I gotta say, they messed up not giving him one. He's honestly the frattiest guy I know and most frats would love to have him. I'm in Delta Sig and I'm going to try and get him to rush for us this Fall but he said he might try Kappa Sig.

Point is, I've been hearing the past year or so and especially lately that Sig Ep isn't what they used to be really, and I'm wondering if passing up on guys like my friend is part of the reason why

I get what you're saying but I wasn't going to force the kid to join my frat, he for some reason was pretty set on Sig Ep and didnt really want anything to do with any other frats lol so like I'm not lying about mine but like I said believe what you want

its unfortunate but yes they are going downhill. bad pledge classes since fall 15 and no more hype will do that to a chapter

Sig ep is probably going downhill because they're taking too many guys like your friend. They probably just figured they already had enough fratty guys and that they needed to bid at least a few kids who are actually going to study.
