On this day in 2014, TKE was kicked off for throwing their infamous "MLK Black Party". They probably disentegrated into nothing now, but they're part of the reason ASU's greek system is cracking down.

If ASU fraternities actually had houses, this would have been a non issue. This was only considered a TKE party because when you don't have a chapter house, the school considers anywhere where brothers live to be fraternity housing. Imagine if TKE had a real house where all their parties were thrown, and then this bad idea of a party was thrown at a brother's house. I bet in that situation, the specific brothers who threw the party (the couple who I imagine lived at that house) would maybe get suspended from the chapter, and that's it.
