it sucks that sororities here

It sucks that sororities here at ASU put on so much pressure to look and act a "certain way". Stuff like telling the members how they should look in and out of letters, what they should be doing on certain days, where they are aloud to go out to, and who they are aloud to hang out with. It's insane how sooo many girls in greek life are so focused on the parts of life that already don't matter like spending hours worrying about your appearance or how many photo likes you'll get, when sororities should be inspiring you to care way less about that stuff and more about genuine friendships, family, grades, and just doing great things and making positive change for the world. It's so constructed in maintaining a social status in this messed up society we live in and I SMH.
