is 21 too old to rush?
by: What UpI'm an incoming transfer student from California but I keep getting different opinions from people I know. Saying things like no your too old or why do you even want to join a fraternity, or go for it! things like that. Regardless what people think or say I still would like to join one, but I would love to get some insight or personal thoughts from others whether they are good or negative.

You wanted insight about what it's like to pledge at 21. I told you something to expect. Whether it's positive or negative is how you personally interpret it. If you're looking for more specific information, you're going to have to be more specific in your request.

You will be one of the older guys, but probably not the oldest. I don't suggest being the beer run guy cause if someone gets drunk and hurts themselveses or someone else, you will be liable. We live in a litigious society. There will be elements that seem and feel immature, but if you can get passed that, it isn't a big deal. There are a couple of fraternities that want younger pledges, but most ar fine with a 21 year old. If you want to do it, then do it.
