asu tke
by: YITBSo Im transferring next year to ASU from a school where TKE is one of the top houses (yes believe it or not we do have a few good chapters) but I know our chapter at ASU is currently in hot water, can anyone tell me the details of the length of the suspension and if I choose to continue my time as a TKE will I still be allowed to partake in things like philanthropies and socials? I tried reaching out to their chapter but havent heard back so Im just curious

TKE was and has been a top house. They are recognized by their nationals still, and are actually one of only 2 fraternities that has a housing arrangement. While they have restrictions on doing things like philanthropies and socials with asu sorority chapters, they have been able to participate in u of a philanthropy events and are apparently in the works of planning socials with U of A chapters as well, so it's a little bit different but they're finding ways to still get the full greek experience.

tke is 1 of 3 off campus fraternities that operates completely fine and has national support. None of these 3 have any intention of coming back on campus. They have been off campus for several years at this point and it hasn't hurt them. The only fraternities with a complex are tke, delta chi, fiji, and ka...so they are in better shape than several chapters. I'm not in tke but I wold have no issues joining.

TKE is not nor ever was a top house. Lower middle tier at best
