The GLV is a lot better than people thought it would be but it still isn’t as good as having a real Greek Row. ASU girls are the hottest in the country (FSU and USC are the only schools who can compete) and greeklife here is very selective. Mid house girls and guys here would be in top houses pretty much anywhere else

Greek life at ASU is not like your standard major university. we dont have greek row, but the Greek Leadership Village is its own gated community with frats & sororities letters outside each house and it's only two years old right off campus. greek life here is very involved with philos and charity work. a few frats and a couple sororities don't participate as much but overall the high involvement is great to see. frats throw down at houses here, not at the GLV but its still a great time you wouldnt even realize youre not at a "frat" house with the vibe and the frat flags and all that craziness. mostly guys as there are more fraternities. the greek population is very attractive but attendance at ASU is attractive in general. greek life for sororities at least is very competitive with upper AND middle tier houses. in my opinion you cant go wrong with sororities here. a few fraternities have screwed up and made a bad rep for themselves but the sororities are pretty much all amazing. figure that out on your own though. People will try to tear down ASU for not having the standard greek row, but that is pretty irrelevant. Houses throw down, are philanthropic, and are just a good time. Anyone who is hating on us is probably a GID, better luck next time at bid day. Also no patty for the kitty.

the GLV skyrocketed Greek life at ASU. definitely brought the liveliness of Greek life back to campus and provided killer accommodations. frats still throwdown outside the GLV but its a good balance.

Greek population: its definitely large, accounting for 9% of the undergrad population including students who are commuters housing: the greek leadership village was an amazing addition to ASU Greek Life. its not greek row, but its better than nothing. a great way to bond closer with your sisters and brothers as well as meeting new people in houses that are only a year old. involvement: look up the stats, every frat and sorority holds events that generate a ton of money for their philo. some sororities and fraternities may fall short, but for the most part almost all ~70 organizations have heavy participation with their philos social scene: several frats that have a ton of great parties. rarely ever a weekend where no frats are throwing bangers attractiveness: frats/sororities here hold extremely attractive and diverse guys and girls. as someone else stated, the only competitor i see is florida state u but man the guys and girls on this campus are very attractive. gender ratio: more known frats than sororities so i would say its a bit more guys than girls hazing: these hands dont haze greek selection: sororities are definitely more competitive formal recruitment brings a larger amount of women than rush for fraternities. therefore creating a more competitive environment
