greek life without a sorority house

There is a big renovated hotel called the APH (appalachain panhellenic hall) that is considered the sorority "housing". Two organizations share a floor and all the rooms are hotel/suite style. It only holds about 20-25 girls from each organization and each sorority has different ways of picking which girls live there. At the APH there are ballrooms and mezz rooms that organizations hold ritual and chapter in. Fall recruitment however is held all over the student union in all the big rooms there, not in the APH. Cost wise it really depends on the organization. Some are around $700 a year but t-shirts and other activities are not always included. Others can be more towards the $1500 which can seem a little crazy but then you aren't spending $15-$20 every time you want a tshirt, higher dues = more things included. In all honesty it all equals out in the end because OF COURSE you're going to want all the cute t-shirts that are made!! Greek life at App is awesome and you should really really consider it!
