AOPI got 42! There is a new system in place this year and part of it was different size pledge classes for everyone. In the past everyone has gotten the same pledge class though so I can see why people are confused :)

How can that be true because isn't adpi and sigma kappa the largest sororities on campus so why would they be allowed to have a bigger pledge class than KD or alpha phi. That makes no sense. I mean I'm not trying to call anyone out say yall are lying, it just doesn't make sense.

Quota was 39... Either you made it or not... Some groups got additions to make sure as many pnms as possible were placed...

Actually, quota is figured by the number of women left in recruitment after Pref divided by the number of organizatons. It has nothing to do with size. During formal recruitment, any chapter can take quota. If a chapter is at or above campus total at that point then they cannot snap bid. If they are still below or did not take quita, then they can snap bid. In the event that many women were not placed in a house, the bid lists are looked at in order to place those women. This is where you see the 38 quota with plus 4 or plus 5. Any chapter that is at or above campus total cannot participate in informal recruitment i the spring. The campus total was brought down after recruitment bc there are a couple of organizations that have been so far below campus total for so long, PHC os trying to equal the playing field for those organizations in order to jeep them from folding at some point in the future.

All of this is based SOLEY on looks. Yall are spending your time trying to "rank" sororities based on a couple bid day pictures you've seen. These girls have been in their new sororities for A DAY- you have no idea how they affect each chapter. So let this go- so catty. Each chapter got the girls they got and I'm sure everyone is very happy.

....and whats even crazier about posts about looks is how BAD everyone looked - every single one of us - after being poured on for hours in the rain :)

Quota for everyone was 39. KD got 38 and alpha phi only got 36 and had to do snap bids. It's more embarrassing to try to cover it up when everyone knows
