juggling greek life w/ school

by:

I am so stoked to rush in the fall, but my only concern is the fact that I am signed up for 17 s.h. (Note, I didn't want this many, but my intended major is basically laid out for me so no choice) Is being apart of a sorority & having that many hours doable? & by doable, I mean without running around like a mad woman haha but have any of you guys taken this many on top of being apart of your organization? Regardless, looking forward to recruitment!

Yes it's doable. Geek life as a whole puts a strong focus on academics. You should be fine as long as you don't go out too much! Lol

I was super worried about this when I went through last year as a chemistry-heavy major! Juggling was REALLY difficult, no lie, but once the bid day excitement died down, all of my new sisters-to-be were super understanding and supportive of my need to study on Thursdays, for example, instead of go out...There are so many girls in every sorority that a lot will be as academically-focused as you are! There are partiers if you want to party, and scholarship nerds if you need to hang in the library!
