It's basically the best day ever. You'll open your bid card, run home to your sorority, take cute pictures, and then go to a location where your sorority has a "party" (not really but you all hang out and have fun)

Bid Day is pretty much Christmas in September and it's on Sunday the 27th! It's the best day ever. I still get chills thinking about running home to my family last year!

All sororities have "buddies" like this, they're just called different things! It's kind of like a temporary big until you actually get yours. In my sorority, we have a different one every week until you get your big! So you get to know a bunch of older girls who will support you!
