legacy question
by: legacyI'm a legacy to ADPi - does this guarantee me a bid into that sorority? I've also heard that once a sorority sees you're a legacy to another chapter, they cut you right away since they assume that's the chapter you will go, is this true?

Being a legacy doesn't guarantee you a bid. I was a legacy of an organization and got cut. Other sororities won't drop you because of this if you have a genuine conversation with them. Yes being a legacy can help in certain situations, but it also doesn't guarantee anything.

In my sorority (which I wasn't a legacy to) as far as I know, we can't really cut a legacy unless there's something very wrong...the example given to me to illustrate this was if we looked up the girl on Facebook, and her profile picture was her smoking weed. My sorority is in the top tier, VERY old southern, and nationally huge on legacies. Just for reference :)
