Are letters of recommendation important for sorority recruitment? Should I get some or will I be okay without them?

They can't hurt, but they're more important if they're from a app alum who really knows you. Getting random girls won't help a ton.

Depends on the chapter... For the traditional southern sororities (adpi, kd, chi o, phi mu, zta) who get a lot of legacies its definitely a bonus to help you stand out!
