It absolutely depends on the sorority. There will be girls who drop you for having the bare minimum, because one person's bad gpa brings their average gpa down. gpa is super important to some organizations and not as important to others. It's not the only thing you're judged on though, so if your gpa isn't the best, don't worry because there's other things to fall back on! Good luck!

Just being real, if you are planning to be in a sorority like KD or ADPi (and Alpha Phi too), I know for a fact you will get cut for a GPA like this. Since for these sororities they dont have a problem with girls dropping them. They have a lot to choose from. So basically, since the first two rounds are really just numbers, you will get dropped those rounds. It sucks but academics should be above greek life. It brings down a organization's average when they factor in your GPA - which leads to a loss of some funding on some level. If anything you want to be above average for these organizations and not the bare minimum.

if you have a 2.65 in some sororities at app, you will be on academic probation with the chapter. you do not want the minimum gpa
