pnms, a little psa before recruitment

Hey girlies!
An affiliated sis here sending a PSA before recruitment starts. We all know you're just ~stalking~ this site to figure out where you want to go, but don't. Take this site with a grain of salt because you have NO idea what you want until you walk into each round (party).

First up! Lets get one thing straight, if you're worried about GPA or extra curricular, you have a reason to be. Chapters drop girls for things like that because it could really affect them overall, but when you go in on day 1, you have a chance to redeem yourself. Talk about what you want to do this year or if you had a bad time in your last major and finally got around to changing it. Things like that might make us reconsider because you look like you're on the up and fixing things.

Next, stop freaking out. We are just as nervous (kinda). You'll find things out like pricing, clothes to wear, philanthropies and all that jazz the first few meetings with your Rho's. Also, get to know your rho's, they're there to be your friend and unaffiliated guide to find your home, honestly.

Also, when you get that booklet, treat it like GOLD. write down notes even if you think you don't need to. It WILL help later. If you have questions like "Why are your dues so low/high?" ASK. like honestly we won't be offended. We love to talk about the sisterhoods, philanthropy events, shirts, & retreats that we put our dues into and what we get from the money we spend.
