rec letters?

hi guys, I know App is a pretty small school. are rec letters important/helpful in recruitment here like they are at bigger schools? I don't really know anyone in a sorority for a rec letter, or in my fam, but I'm scared I'm going to be dropped bc of it :/

honestly no you won't need them, at App most girls get in without them. if you want what is considered a "harder to get into" sorority though, you may want to see what you can scrounge up. just for extra security. this year is going to be super competitive. if you don't have a great list of extracurricular, beautiful face, fun personality and good gpa, a rec letter can make up for one component. i'm sure you are beautiful and will find your home! :)

Get recs for as many groups as you can. They don't have to be from App State alumni. Start asking around. Sorority women tend to know other sorority women. good luck in recruitment.
