can gdi's get into parties

by: wat

Okay, lets be real here. How big is Greek life at App? Are you really able to still party without being in a sorority or fraternity? or are parties easy to find for gdi's, especially attractive girls. No hate just wondering, don't go there yet

I mean you def can get into parties as a GDI still but it's easier to hear about them if you're Greek. It's not that big a deal at app but in my opinion is the best way to have a fun social life. If you're a guy though I know that sometimes you can't get into other frat parties if you're already a part of a different fraternity, but it really depends. A lot of frats won't let just guys in either unless they bring more girls with them.

Ah okay. Thanks for replying. Are you in a sorority? If you are could you tell me how much it costed you each semester for your specific sorority? I'm thinking about joining one but I dont know if I can afford it tbh. I'm paying for my own education and cant take out loans next school year unfortunately

Yeah I am, when you go through recruitment they'll tell you the prices for each one. I pay about 500 each semester for mine, which I think is like maybe a little above average, but it can vary a lot depending which one you join. Like I know that some are more expensive but also include everything like shirts and things you would end up paying for anyway. You can also make financial contracts to help like you don't have to pay it all at once. I split mine half and half with parents and it's manageable with a job

If your a girl you don't need to join a sorority, just make friends with guys in frats. Guys on the other hand only get in if rushing or very tight with brothers
