sororities on probation
by: pnmI will be going thru recruitment this fall as a freshman. I see that 2 sororities are on some kind of probation. Will they still recruit new members? How are they affected by their probation status? Why would a PNM consider a sorority that's already in some kind of trouble?

Probation doesn't automatically mean no mixers or socials, especially if it is with the national organization. They set their own rules and guidelines based on the infractions that led to the probation. Don't just assume an organization won't have socials. More importantly, don't select on organization with that in mind. If you connect well with the women, you will do so with or without mixers.

Doesn't everyone realize people from other sororities get on here to down rival sororities or frats to make them look bad, so childish! They all have things they get in trouble over, they ALL do the same things, it's all in who gets caught or not, cmon people, GET REAL!!

Yes it's all in the matter of who gets lucky enough by not getting caught, haha! I heard what AGD got in trouble for was over a frat date vandalizing a bathroom at a date function, it's a shame a whole organization gets a bad wrap or put on probation for one wasted frat guy!
