Hey girl honestly the best way to find out is to get to know them yourself at events and things like that, and of course through actual recruitment. Try to get involved early and try to make as many events as you can to get your feet wet!

Let me just say that there are sweet and genuine girls in every org, but this is just what generally encompasses each org. I agree with the previous person, you really need to go to PNM events like Meet the Greeks and see for yourself. Also go through recruitment with an open mind!

AEPHI & SDT: love to party and drink. Known to have girls who come from money. Very trendy and not as diverse as other orgs but have a good sisterhood because they are all from practically the same backgrounds/lifestyles.

DPHIE: known on campus as being friendly towards others and most members are heavily involved on campus in various clubs/jobs.

Phi Sig: members have good fashion sense and are trendy. Has a lot of different personalities but they complement each other.

Tri Delta: regarded on campus by others as being a "bottom" organization but they are honestly on the rise. Lots of different personalities and looks. One of the smaller orgs, so strong sisterhood. I always see them hanging out together in the same way SDT and AEPHI do.

Delta Gamma: basically similar to DPHIE except these girls love to party more. Friendly for the most part but some are standoffish. Strong sisterhood though. Always hanging out with each other.

Phi Mu: The newest org on campus. They did their first recruitment this past year. Lots of different personalities. Not as active on campus because they are still relatively new so hard to really say how they are.

Really sick of people who keep saying Phi Mu is new. They’ve been here for a while now and you guys will call it new until another sorority is made. It is well established and there are many things the sisters do on campus. Maybe u should ask or actually infer before making such a big generalization.

Clearly that message was written by someone in Phi Mu that should tell you enough, you guys are a new sorority you’ve only been on campus a year, what’s wrong with you 🙄

But they are new?? Like logically speaking if someone was to say “hey which is the newest sorority on campus?” The answer would be phi mu because they are the latest one to join. It’s really not a good look for your org to be getting upset about the facts... DPHIE was a new chapter years ago and they built themselves up from the bottom. You don’t become a top tier or respected org overnight. Where’s Phi Mu’s philanthropy event and campus presence? Practically nonexistent because they are still relatively new.
