rushing sorority as a junior

Hey y'all! I'll be transferring to UH for fall 2016 and I am interested in rushing. My question is, will I get a bid from a house like DZ considering that I will be an incoming junior and also I am black. I'm relatively gorgeous with a high gpa and super outgoing. Thank you!

The words "gorgeous" and "black" shouldnt be in the same sentence. Are you sure you're not looking for the welfare house, or the food stamp house?

If youre pretty, have high grades, and youre not weird than you should be fine to get into a sorority as long as they have openings. I wouldn't just keep your mind set on DZ though. Nothing against them, just I went through Fall Rush this year and each house was way different than I thought they were. I would try to reach out to every sorority that way you can make a better decision on where you want to be.

Don't worry, girl! You'll find your place. In the end it doesn't event matter which houses are top, middle, and bottom, just find one where you feel like you're at home. Chances are when you love them they're loving you too, you can sense when someone's being fake.

Dz is the most diverse. Don't just have your heart set there though. Look around and reach out to all. Everyone is pretty cool.
