frontier fiesta vs roundup

They indeed stepped up their game ( I believe the budget was tripled for this year) and I think it'll only get better. Round up and fiesta are kind of different events thought. I would compare it more to chilifest at A&M.

Do you go here? I agree Greek life is not anything compared to UT, A&M, Tech, TCU, Baylor, SMU...and probably SFA or Texas State, to be honest. However, we have plenty of Greeks who could be in any chapter at those schools. So why drag down our Greek life here? Work on making it better. I believe our school is on an upwards spiral. It has always provided a great education, but now the marketing of the University has stepped everything up a notch. Positive attitudes will help, not senseless griping.

Having been to both in the same year I can say frontier fiesta is nowhere near roundup staus. The parties at UT have always been bigger and with more funding from fraternities and alums. They manage to draw people in from many different colleges from LSU to Oklahoma. UH is much too small and has such limited funding in comparison that it's difficult to see frontier fiesta reaching roundup status any time soon or at all.
