by: KatieHow important is it for PNMs to attend Letters Day Out, Panhellenic Picnic, etc? I'm afraid that I might miss one due to classes. Will this affect my chances of a bid?

It doesn't affect it at all. If you can't make it it's okay so don't worry! It's more for you to get to know us than for us to get to know you. I'd say it's better for freshmen/women who are very new to the idea of greek life. If you can't make it just take the time to research each chapter online on your own; look at their philanthropies and activities, values, etc.
