I'm rushing in the fall as a freshman and I wanted to know who the basic top sororities are

You should not rush any sorority because anyone who actually takes anything on this website seriously is to much of an idiot to even get into a bottom tier sorority.

There are no top sororities here. Some sororities excel in certain areas more than others. Join the one that you feel comfortable in, not the one outsiders say is the "top"

All of what is said above is true. UH has an awkward Greek life where depending on who you are talking to the top tier sororities could be completely different.

Top- AXO, DG
Middle- XO, ZTA, DZ
Bottom- PM, SK

That's the list most people are gonna tell you. Now if you're looking for grades you might move Chi O up, or if you're looking to party you might move Zeta up. But the other replies are right. Go with the sorority you feel is the best for you. Cause if you go to one that you don't fit in because you thought they were "top tier" you're probably going to drop.
