explain sorority rush
by: confuzzzedcan someone plz explain exactly how the rush process works at luc? I heard u get randomly assigned to a sorority which makes no sense to me-don’t u want to join a group u have things in common with? do you pref, is there bid day, is it competitive, do people get dropped? so many questions-sorry, lol just trying to understand

you do not get assigned a sorority randomly, there is a whole process of mutual selection where both you and the sororities rank eachother to find your best fit. there is a bid day, each sorority has their own. some sororities are competitive and almost everyone gets dropped from a couple.

Rush isnt too crazy, you meet with all the chapters briefly on the first day, you pick top five and they choose who they want back. if you mutually rank eachother youll be back the second day and meet with five or less depending on who drops who. You'll pick 2 from there and then down to 1 on bid day.
