the decline of the greek system

With the departure of Sigma Pi and the recent end to SAE fraternity life at Loyola is non existent. Whatever "fraternities" are left are much better described as social clubs. You're better off joining a sports club.

I think this is very incorrect. Every single guy I know in a fraternity loves the group he's in. We ARE social fraternities, so the point is to be social.....all of our organizations are involved in philanthropy, and they all make a connection in some way with the entire Loyola community. Greek Life without a freakin doubt has a lot of issues we need to work on, but I disagree that it's ending. Every year more and more men and women want to get involved, and that is purely statistical.
