They are usually themed and you get together with a frat (or sorority if your a guy) and you drink, hang out, dance, sometimes play drinking games.

It's a party, usually themed, between two or more Greek organizations and the only people able to get in are members of the specific organizations involved. For example a SN is not going to be allowed to a KA/ZTA mixer and likewise an Aphi is not going to be allowed to a Pike/DDD mixer and so on.
