How do fraternities work for their houses? Like I notice some have a main house, houses for partying, forest houses, chapter houses. How do these things work?

It depends on which fraternities you're talking about. Though for the most part every frat house is a party house, usually the ragers are thrown at houses with basements/big yards or in forest, whereas parties in the manor or other places are usually more low-key
