recommendations

How important are letters of recommendation for sororities? Should I ask for them for the ones I think I'd fit well in since I haven't actually met them yet?
Do they help in the recruitment process?

Letters of recommendation are not at all needed. I didn't have any and Im in a top tier sorority. But that could just be me. Definitely doesn't hurt but I wouldn't worry about it too much.
