I heard young life controls downtown. They have three houses and make JMU kinda suck. Forrest is pretty much all the frats have left...

There are still frats on south mason which isn't too far. DX and Fiji also have houses on South Main close to downtown and many other fraternities have houses going away from downtown. That's simply not true.

sig ep has duck house
alpha sig has yellow
theta chi has figis old house
lamda chi has the white house next to club colonial and yellow

All that and most of the sororities have multiple houses on south mason, grattan, newman, paul, franklin, bruce, water, federal and layman. Younglife usually has the smaller houses while most of the frats get the bigger houses.

Its forrest and south main/south ave. Pike's Left Aid, Pi Kapp's green house, Sig Ep's S main and S Ave houses, and ATO's main S Ave house. Nobody ever goes to south mason and anyone that says they do is in one of the fraternities unfortunate enough to have a house there.
