Most likely how things will look after rush/recruitment this Fall 2015:
Sororities (Only a few things will change):
Top: SK/SSS/ZTA
Upper Middle: ASA
Middle: DDD/Aphi/Theta/Phi Mu
Lower Middle: ADPi/GPhi/AST
Bottom: DG
Fraternities (There are some changes):
Top: ATO/KA/Pike/SN
Upper Middle: DX/Pikap/LXA/SigEp
Mid: FIJI/SX
Lower Middle: KS/TKE/DeltaSig
Lower:Theta Chi/KDR/AlphaSig
the rest: DU/DTD/AEPi

as far as sororities go its reeealllyy hard to say what they will look like in a year, ex (not a theta)
theta was low middle tier last year and ast was solid middle, and now ast is bottom tier and theta is high middle.

Well SX is losing the only thing that ever gave them any real appeal: their house. The guys in SX are almost entirely creepy jerks excepting maybe a handful and not performing up to par as they have in the past with rush. Where Fiji is getting a huge house and aren't all creeps and have been doing better during rush this year than they have the previous semesters.
KDR is strange where they are at though maybe swap with DU/DTD (they are basically the same thing)

I think the original poster wanted to make the point that ASA is dropping from the top tier and won't be as good as the top 3 but not quite in the middle either. It is awkward but it does describe where they'll be at in comparison to everyone else.
