too many sorority rankings

Sorority rankings don't change because they only recruit (mostly) once a year. So why are there so many sorority rankings? I'm more interested in what fraternities are rising and falling because that can change in a matter of weeks. Like what's going on in the middle tier? How is PiKapp and SX and SigEp doing? Who's the best fraternity on campus? Who's got good pledge classes? Will FIJI be cool? Can we get some better discussion going on here people?
