I hate to be the "lecturing senior greek" but the changing trends of "tiers" don't necessarily bode well for a lot of the people who originally joined. For instance "better" might just mean more stuck up and/or douchey people you were probably trying to avoid in the first place by joining a "middle", "lower", or "bottom" tier. A lot of my friends joined "top" greek organizations while I joined a "mid/lower" organization. All I hear from the ones who joined "top" organizations are complaints about some other "top" group being upset with them over something that doesn't really matter yet all my other friends who I've met in "mid" or "lower" greek organizations usually have the response of "who cares let's just have a good time?" Make of it what you will but this is my take
