Why all the Aphi hate?
by: SDT28I’m wondering what the situation really is. I’ll be rushing in the fall and my older cousin was an Aphi at JMU (graduated) and wants me to go Aphi.

i think it's their we're better than everyone attitude that people are tired of. they have also taken some questionable girls that make you wonder how much integrity they have as an organization. my advice is to go into rush with an open mind and give each sorority a chance. you'll know when you find your sisters.

@um oh yeah, between the caked on catfish makeup and the crap reputation, we’re all just so jealous. The post said you think you’re better, not that you actually are.

i think it’s because their nationals attempts to make their chapters recruit based on looks/pictures/social media, so they don’t care as much about reputation and get easily catfished. I don’t think the girls get much say in who they pick according to info that’s been leaked by girls from other aphi chapters
