move ddd down a notch and probably phi mu a notch. three tiers isn't really enough. it's more like
1. SK, SSS,
2. ASA, ZTA
3. APhi, DDD, Theta
4. AST, Phi Mu

The fact that you think someone else's opinion is laughable.....is laughable. This site is for people's opinions and if you disagree you shouldn't put people down or tell them they are wrong.
If you didn't realize tiers take time/generations to really change completely. People make first impressions with frats/sororitys and those generally stick with you until you graduate. In turn, if you witnessed a fraternity that was good as a freshman you generally think they are in the same tier when you graduate even if the younger people in your frat/sorority view otherwise, (whether higher or lower).
The frats/sororitys you have to watch out for that are on the rise are the ones that are hanging with all the younger members in greek life....

Beyond false.
Kappa Sig is now completely irrelevant.
PiKapp and LXA are most definitely middle.

Judging from the wide range of opinions it looks as though the frats are moving around in rank.... It's funny because I would never put LXA in the same discussion as PiKap or put LXA over Sigep and to me there is no way that SN belongs anywhere near the top. Interesting.

Definitely have to agree with this. I think the overall theme is that the fraternities and sororities that have consistently top tier are falling a bit and the usually bottom tier like LXA, Fiji, Sig Ep, and Delta Sig\Theta, AST, and Phi Mu are getting MUCH better. Not saying they are taking over, but their progression should be respected. I mean look at Delta Sig, literally completely stupid 2 years ago. They are now a lot better and the same goes with Theta. They aren't going to be top tier in the next 5 years, but those parts of Greek Life are improving and overall JMU fraternity and sororities are experiencing a massive boom.

nice try, tridelt. move DDD down to the middle, and then you're getting warmer. also your frats are pretty extreme, sigep and figi on the same level as pikap is laughable.
