ive heard a lot of things about tri sig

tri sig is a sorority. They got in trouble and put on probation after bid day 2020 and bid day 2021 for the upperclassmen drinking. Last year when they got caught drinking again the National sorority kicked out like all their exec, all their seniors and some juniors (any maybe some others). The girls that were kicked out started “sigma society” but apparently that died out with them graduating. according to some of the current tri sigma members they are not on probation anymore even though jmus fsl website still says they are

Not on probation anymore. Have same numbers as other sororities bc the girls who got in trouble graduated (only a few juniors got in trouble) Will be fully active this year. My suite mate last year was one. I’m actually glad they are ok bc the ones I met were really cool and nice and the new Girls didn’t do anything to get in trouble. We need as many sororities as we can get because there are too many girls dropped each year. I was one of the 700 dropped last year after the first round and hoping to rush again this year and make it in one.

Completely dropped. So it’s very important to keep an open mind. Stuff said on this site doesn’t mean anything. There are cool girls in each sorority and it’s even out even more than before because the school has grown, but more sororities haven’t been added.

Tri sigma was one of the sororities who got in trouble a couple bid days ago for not wearing masks so they got put on probation, and right when they got off probation they apparently hazed a girl so bad she ended up in the hospital for alcohol poisoning. They then proceeded to get on probation again. They didn’t even have there big little event until the spring because of there probation. The sorority is still on campus but, apparently if they get 1 more strike they’re off campus for good

Trisig is one of the original sororities at JMU. It’s always been a top sorority.
