about the rush crop tops
by: byeTo ppl hating on the sororities that had cropped outfits, you sound counter productive… “they are only recruiting size 0 girls…” can only “size 0” girls wear cropped tops? That does not sound very body positive to me. Girls with all different body types wear crop tops all the time. You act like every girl in these chapters have the same body, which is completely false. Also, to say girls shouldn’t be wearing crop tops because the pnms weren’t allowed just sounds ridiculous, that is panhels fault for not allowing them to, not the sororities. All the chapters have to get their outfits approved anyway.

“Panhel is strict” “panhel wouldn’t approve them if they were inappropriate” but like was panhel even aware they were crop tops lol? Like if it was just a picture of a shirt not on a model like almost alllll spirit shirt proofs are shown as, they would have had no idea that the shirts were that cropped.

“no idea they were cropped” “0 critical thinking skills” you can look at a shirt on a model and tell it’s not a baggy tshirt. not to mention sororities who got tshirts approved cropped them by tucking them in what’s the difference. anyone defending panhel like that be on panhel and trying to excuse their weird policies. if the chapters didn’t care ab wearing the crop tops leave them alone 🙌🏼🙌🏼 also define inappropriate because you just keep contradicting your stance

1) there are multiple people on this site so how are you supposed to know what stance every poster has of the word “inappropriate” 🤦♀️
2) shirts NOT on a model can’t be clearly known to be cropped. they would have no idea of how short they are and most shirt proofs aren’t shown on models

I’m in a sorority that wore the crop tops and i can tell you that a lot of us did not feel comfortable with the shirt choice. I know some of my sisters expressed concern but certain people were so determined to have everyone wearing crop tops that they weren’t interested in listening. Personally i don’t think it projected a top quality image, it was very lowbrow

I’m in a sorority that wore the cropped shirts and I actually really liked them because I know we’ll all wear them again. As long as they were worn with something high waisted I think it looked fine. Everyone who didn’t was giving hooters tho. In the end I don’t think it should be the reason you choose or drop a sorority. There are so many more important things than shirt lengths

If girls were uncomfortable wearing them and the sisters in charge didn’t listen to them… I would definitely not want to be in that house

If someone was uncomfortable, they have the chance to speak up in private before the outfits are approved. Stop making it so deep by saying they “prioritize showing skin” cut the bs, the tops are just cute and that’s as deep as it goes, stop making everything a problem. Plus, these girls can choose the sizing of their tops. I am sure that goes for every chapter. Or, if panhel felt that they were too inappropriate, they would not approve of the outfits… and panhel is strict, honestly
