be careful ladies

Before you go paying attention to sorority ranking, think about this. If you get caught up in being brought back by a “popular sorority” then ur likely going to miss a lot of red flags. Coming from experience, the allure of popularity is not worth it in the slightest. These sororities have to literally beg their girls to be nice to each other. i’ve seen some good friendships formed in the “top” srats, ok, but a lot of the bestie groups on social media have so much drama behind them. it made me lose faith in true authentic girl supporting girl friendships.
Dropping out of srat life was the best decision i ever made because once you’re in you’ll see, it’s NOTHING like recruitment makes it look. Listen to ur gut.
srat girls, idc if u argue me on this post, u know i’m right too

I think a lot of sweet girls get caught up in the allure of being in a “top” house but you have to remember those are the ones that care about superficial things the most just because they can. Definitely trust your gut and go where you feel the most comfortable, where it feels like you don’t have to try and it all just flows effortlessly, that’s where you will find your friends. Don’t fall into the trap of rankings

Literally so true! I was in a top sorority and the President and older members of the sorority multiple times had to tell my pledge class to be nice to other girls in the chapter and in other sororities due to cattiness. Had to even tell my pledge class to be respectful in the sorority house and other sisters homes.

i absolutely recognize this! I have regrets abt not giving other chapters a chance because i was young and dumb and swept up in the popularity contest
