Sorority row house girls
by: pnmhow many girls live in the row houses? My one friend was talking about living in the house but on Instagram it seems like some houses only have a handful of house girls. Is it hard to get a spot

If asa only has 16 house girls their dues have to be crazy expensive this year. When sororities don’t fill their houses, the chapter still has to pay jmu for the empty beds…

16 girls is actually absurd if that’s true. That would hike up their dues a couple hundred dollars per member for like 10 open beds

I think there are anywhere between 26-30 actual spots to fill in the houses. Usually whoever is house mom/manager can have a room to themselves if they want. Not being able to fill a house is a pretty good indicator of a chapter’s well-being/sisterhood in my opinion. DG couldn’t fill their house multiple years so they lost it and then their chapter closed

Yeah the row houses are just old dorms but girls make really good friends living in house and not having one, like DG, would be detrimental to a chapter
