RUSH FEARS BIG TIME

Is anyone else worried? I am just a regular girl, but kind of shy. I know I won't get asked back to most of the sororities based on what others have told me. I would have been fine in DG. From what I hear there is no longer a sorority that takes everyone. I know a lot of top tiers drop girls, but the reality is so do the bottom tiers. I know my friends got dropped from GPHI, ADPI, and Phi Sig when they went through rush a few years ago. There is no safe bet anymore. I am curious how things will turn out.

You just need to be chill, have good conversations and be interested and you will end up somewhere. Quota will be set based on how many pnms go into pref so just make it to then!

I think it’s good that you already recognize that people get cut from all the chapters. I think a lot of girls go in thinking no one will cut them and that they’re too good for certain chapters and then get cut for that. Just be yourself, get to know the girls recruiting you, be as conversational as possible and you’ll be fine

Tbh jmu does have a pretty competitive rush. Yes it’s not the sec but it is pretty superficial. Just go in with an open mind and give every house your best and you’ll end up where you’re meant to. Pledge classes are probably gonna be pretty big this year
