there are a ton of YouTube videos with tips on this. If its all in person it gets dressier each round. Open house theyll give you a tshirt so a cute skirt is good, philanthropy round a casual sundress or romper is good, sisterhood a cute dress and pref round a semi formal dress.

open house: skirt or short b/c you'll be given a t-shirt and accessories that help your personality shine with flats/sneakers b/c lots of walking/standing

philanthropy: casual dress, romper, or nicer skirt and top with sandals or platforms

sisterhood: a little bit nicer dress or buisness-casual outfit

pref: nicest dress and small heels

but in all honesty...wear what makes you feel most confident and displays your personality best. best of luck this recruitment, i promise you're going to find your home and just trust the process b/c it all works out in the end <3

They’ll tell you what to wear at recruitment orientation. I bought a bunch of dresses the summer before I rushed and I think I ended up only wearing one of them because I was so stressed and kept changing my mind. Also your hall mates will probably also be rushing and it’s fun to figure out outfits with them. I borrowed my pref dress from a girl who wore it as her sisterhood dress. But YouTube will help just make sure to look up JMU rush not like an SEC school
